As we enter the year 3352 of the Danetian Calendar, the Academy also marks an important milestone: ten years since the birth of the Danetian language.
Over the past year, steady progress has been made in building Danetia and presenting it more clearly to the public. The Academy website has begun to take on a more complete form to serve as the central place where the language, its structure, and the broader cultural project can be explored.
This new year, the Academy is committed to keeping that momentum going. A major priority is to formalize the grammar. Alongside that, we will continue translating texts to breathe more life into the language.
Another priority is the development of a searchable dictionary. Much of the vocabulary already exists in various written texts. But now it is time to collect it all into a central repository that is easily navigable.
The Academy is proud of the progress that has been made this past decade, and looks forward to the proliferation of the Danetian project in the coming decade.
Happy new year! Prinom jerom!
