The Academy launches PIESCA
The Danetian Academy has launched PIESCA, a Proto-Indo-European Sound Change Applier based on Mark Rosenfelder’s SCA2.
PIESCA combines a searchable Proto-Indo-European dictionary with a sound change applier. Users can enter their own sound changes and apply them to every headword and recorded inflection, exploring how an imagined descendant of Proto-Indo-European might look.
Originally developed to support work on Danetian, PIESCA may be useful to anyone constructing an Indo-European language.
